Absolutely correct. Lateral Epicondolytis is not a valid name for "tennis Elbow", since there is no inflamation involved. Tenosis is an accurate name since it is a degenerative condition. Poor circulation delays improvement. Tendons are composed of 70% water, therefore the more hydration the better chance of improving the condition. I had the condition 9 yrs ago. I tried all remedies reccomended by American medical protocal to no avail. Upon much reseach I found a clinical study about Autologus blood treatment. (2cc of my own blood % 1cc lidocaine inj to the site. 2wks apart. I was working in a Hospital. I had fellow nurses perform the procedure. The first inj did nothing. 2 wks later at 3pm the 2nd injection. 3 hours later (6pm) I felt absolutely 0 pain for the first time in 4 months. I assumed it would be temporary. I was astonished.
